Alexis Moar is a Cinematographer based out of Calgary, AB. Since entering the film industry in 2012 she has gained extensive on-set experience in the independent and commercial world of Alberta Film. Working in both narrative and documentary, she approaches her projects with a keen interest in collaboration and the art of storytelling through moving images.  Some recent credits include:

Alexis also works to build community and support for aspiring filmmakers. She was on the Board of Directors for Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers (CSIF) from 2019-2020 and she co-facilitated the Herland Mentorship Program in 2018/19 which supports women to create their own stories with the production of short films. In this program she provided support as the Cinematography Mentor.
