Adele Hinkley

Photographer, Visual Artist

Adele Hinkley grew up in the forests on the eastern hillside of Chilliwack, setting the foundation for her fascination with the natural world. Over the past 10 plus years, she has travelled, studied, and worked across Canada and internationally for adventure tourism companies, museums, and small businesses.

Her training includes Interpretive Specialist and Three Seasons Hiking Guide Certification from the Interpretive Guides Association, National Geographic Expeditions, Santa Fe Workshops in New Mexico, as well as Digital Arts and New Media at Selkirk College in Nelson, BC. She is a graduate from the online New York Institute of Photography and is working towards completing the Photography Certificate Program from Emily Carr University.

"As Artist in Residence at the Narrows retreat in the Spring, I cherished the opportunity to connect with nature, creativity, and myself. The secluded location provided the perfect environment for quiet contemplation and focused work in the studio, engaging with various artistic mediums like clay, painting, and photography." Adele Hinkley.
