Don Konrad

Don Konrad retired from a long career in journalism and publishing to work on personal art projects and resides in Nelson, B.C. He paints in watercolour, oil and enjoys building birdhouses. Don also creates caricatures and illustrations in pen and ink. Don Konrad has taught art and conducted many workshops in eastern and western Canada.

He has been a guest staff watercolour Instructor for Holland-America Cruise lines, painting in Europe, South America, Caribbean, South Pacific as well as Florida and Alaska and many ports in between. He is a part time artist in residence at the Narrows, with his own dedicated cabin for his artistic pursuits.
