The Narrows Art Retreat offers a rare opportunity to nurture your creative spirit in a restful and restorative environment. Taking a workshop at The Narrows, can unfold personal and artistic renewal.  We offer one-day to one week intensives with art Instructors in their specialized field, whether, painting, writing, music, fiber arts etc... Workshop listings are added on a continual basis.  We also have a strong focus on developing environmental education through the creative arts (working with the seasons), & offers retreats with an ecology focus to adults and youth.

Travel to the Retreat is by boat. Pick up at the Public Wharf near the Prestige Hotel on Nelson's waterfront. A small walk down the dirt road will lead you to The Narrows - the residence and studio, where new experiences await. There are options to take a workshop and stay in town instead of at the retreat.
