Laara Sadiq

Laara Sadiq returned for a second time in 2022, with Lois Anderson to continue working on their two woman play, Hagmouth. We were thrilled for them to come back and continue their creativity and share their enthusiasm for the Narrows with us.

Laara Sadiq is an award winning actor with over 30 years experience in theatre, film, television and voice-over across Turtle Island. She holds a BFA from the University of British Columbia, on unceded Musqueam Territory.

Laara respectfully makes her home on unceded Coast Salish Territory. In addition to her work as an artist, she is a Mama, activist, teacher/knowledge sharer, beekeeper, forager, grower, feeder, avid runner, hiker, novice surfer, bike cruiser, curates/chefs lovebowl, a community long table dinner series. And a few other things.

While on residency at The Narrows, she was developing her latest project Hagmouth - an eco site-specific piece, co-created with Lois Anderson.
